What a Puppy and a Butler Have in Common
Chancellor’s House, the new luxury boutique hotel, under construction in Oxford, Mississippi, has launched an advertising campaign as unique as the hotel itself. The vision for this 31 room and suite hotel has always been, to create a special boutique hotel that would offer guest the finest service and amenities possible. Beyond the renderings and descriptions of the services that will be provided by a highly skilled and experienced staff, the latest ads feature themes to capture attention and showcase unique services that
will set the hotel apart.
The marketing team has gone beyond the typical advertising and marketing approach for the hospitality industry. The most recent ads feature a butler and an adorable puppy, both of which have a tie to Chancellor’s House amenities, with the lines “A Butler Is Waiting For You”, and “We Will Spoil All Of You”. These ads reflect images to capture the attention of its future guests and accelerate the “buzz” and anticipation of the opening in the fall.
With its tagline, “Setting The Standard For Luxurious Lodging”, Chancellor’s House promises to bring a magical array of venues for entertaining and dining along with 24-hour concierge service, plus butler and chambermaids available on demand. Dogs will be welcomed guests and provided their own mahogany kennel with a Ralph Lauren plaid pillow and a special room service menu to boot.
According to Mike Donoghue, Managing Director of the Chancellor’s House Management Group, “With a lifelong career in hospitality, the joy of creative this unique “over the top” property is an honor. Our guests, who are now reserving rooms and booking them for football weekends, are also booking the entire property for weddings.” “Chancellor’s House wants to be unique in every way as evidence by our butler, and that
desire is reflected in our advertising.” Donoghue continued.
